Double Acknowledgement for Betsoft Gaming in EGR B2B Awards’ Shortlist 2020

Double Acknowledgement for Betsoft Gaming in EGR B2B Awards’ Shortlist 2020

Betsoft Gaming, a leading content provider in iGaming, has been shortlisted for two hotly contested categories in the 2020 EGR B2B Awards – Innovation in RNG Casino and Casino Software Supplier.

The EGR B2B Awards recognise and reward excellence across the 40 different categories within the iGaming industry. Calling on the judgment of an independent, external team of experts, the award criteria is updated yearly to reflect continuous growth and innovation in a truly fast-moving and exciting industry. The diversity of the judging panel brings a depth of expertise to the awards. This ensures both shortlisting and winning is a hugely relevant accolade and a true reflection of high performance across the industry.

Winners are usually announced over the course of a glamorous BlackTie event. However, this year the EGR B2B Awards 2020 will take place online. As the iGaming industry is a true online pioneer, great things can be expected from this awards’ show. The Virtual Ceremonies will be split over 21-23 July 2020 and livestreamed from 4pm – 7pm BST, complemented with a live series of talking heads to address the biggest topics and challenges currently facing the industry.

The award for Innovation in RNG Casino assesses capability and delivery in innovation and service across iGaming. Betsoft’s 2020 nomination was achieved through its portfolio of exciting and challenging games.

Betsoft submitted its massive hit Take the Bank for 2020. A distinctive cinematic quality animation of masked robbers, swag bags, an underground bank vault and ticking time bombs. Utilising their renowned development skill and detailed operator feedback, Take the Bank is designed to give hungry players the type of high quality and ‘long-tail’ game that quickly becomes a classic. The standout mechanic in this slot is the ‘Heist Spins’ feature: each time robbers appear on the reels, they are replaced by Wild symbols. Every spin brings you closer to a bomb explosion and busting the vaults wide open to take the bank.

Having taken the honours in this category with Max Quest: Wrath of Ra in 2019’s awards, Betsoft are themselves banking on a repeat performance this year.

The nomination for Casino Software Supplier is Betsoft’s first in this category. It is clear affirmation that Betsoft’s trademark cinematic quality is the standard to meet. Across the judging period, Betsoft released 13 new games built on the provider’s second-generation ShiftTM development platform. An HTML5-native, single-code environment, ShiftTM 2.0 includes smart asset quality switching and streaming improvements that guarantee a positive audio-visual experience on almost any device. The number of new client signings across multiple markets and jurisdictions, including the Latam market, Asia and Europe, clearly indicates the success of the Betsoft strategy.

‘We are delighted to be shortlisted for two heavily contested categories in this year’s ERG B2B Awards’, said Annamaria Anastasi, Marketing Director at Betsoft Gaming. ‘We have seen an increase in demand for gamification and in the sophistication of our audiences over the last year. As always, our creative studio is superb at shaping and delivering immersive experiences which ensure player loyalty and retain clients for the long-term. Our strategy for both sequels and new storylines has proved enormously successful – across all demographics and player levels – enabling us to increase our client base globally. I’m thrilled that our approach is successful enough to gain recognition once again with two nominations at the EGR B2B Awards’.
